a few thoughts…
It feels good to feel good. True, true, life is so full of challenges, so I do my best to point myself in the direction of ease and love…making decisions from inspired action rather than what can feel like life’s drudgeries riddled with pressure and competition.
I’ve been an artist most of my life. All things texture and pattern, color and contrast intrigue me. I write too, but sometimes words feel like emotional laundry, and thoughts get tangled, so I tend towards visual art. I’m a weaver. Learning macrame knots in 5th grade got me started. Painting is another thing I adore. There’s something so freeing and expressive about trusting my instincts when it comes to paint and markers, or large-scale wall murals.
Oh, and then there’s another passion of mine… people. The gestalt of life, the stories, and nuances that make us all ‘tick’, in each our own unique way, fascinates me. O life! I tend to believe in the best of people and want everyone to thrive. As far as I’m concerned, art heals, and has a way of building confidence and community… and that’s a beautiful thing.
I invite you to take a scroll through my website to see some of my studio work and community work. I’m always busy doing something. Consider purchasing original art and/or making a contribution to my various ways of uplifting everyday people. Thanks so much! And, please let me know if you, yourself, would like a note of encouragement. We’re all in this together!
